Jay also created and grew a firm, Cerebral Solutions (CSI), focused on the Intelligence Community for ten years and sold it to a large private equity group in 2015. Prior to the acquisition of (CSI) it was cited for several industry awards for growth and performance from the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF), and the SmartCEO organizations.
Jay has broad experience with acquisitive growth as a valuation expert with JWP Consulting, Engility Corporation, and RGS Associates, which spans over 20 years. To date, he has been an advisor for over $500M worth of transactions for public sector companies. Additionally, Jay has experience leading operations for many organizations within the Intelligence community resulting in an average of 30% “YoY” growth, and a 90% success rate for organic based proposals.
Jay resides in Annandale, Virginia with his wife and three children, and is an avid UVA track and field fan. Additionally, Jay holds advisory board positions for several IT based firms supporting the intelligence community and acts as a mentor for C-Level executives. Jay earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Lincoln University, and an Executive MBA from Harvard Business School.
